I Had 4 Children in 13 Months

My first son was ten-years-old when I decided to try for more children. This turned out to be very difficult. After four rounds of IVF and one miscarriage, I finally became pregnant with my daughter, however at the time, due to the many setbacks and previous miscarriage, I did not feel confident that this pregnancy would go full term, so I decided to work with a surrogate to increase my odds of having a baby. I thought to myself, “why not hedge our bets to ensure a child?”

Low and behold, I carried full-term and my surrogate got pregnant with twins! I delivered Harlow in August 2018 and four months later, my surrogate delivered two healthy babies.

We had three newborns at home plus a tween when another surprise happened… I got pregnant naturally without even trying. Our four miracles came within 13 months of one another.

I truly believe that I released all my tension of not being able to personally grow my family once our surrogate decided to help us. Suddenly, I stopped stressing and then nature was able to take its course.

It’s hard to believe that I had four children in 13 months, after struggling with infertility for years. Now I tell mamas never give up, because anything is possible. Just look at my family of seven!
